We've been clients for about 2 years, we've always been happy... read more with their service and communication. Matt was primarily our groomer for the past year and has always done a great job.

Dusty will need to find another groomer going forward in 2024.

We were clients of theirs for just under 3 years and we used to LOVE them until about the last 6 months.... read more Out of nowhere they stopped being responsive and kept switching groomers on us. I would go weeks without a response to text messages and voicemails. Finally they would respond and apologize, send someone out and then go cold again. 2-3 weeks ago I received a TEXT message (didn't even have the decency to call a 3 year client) telling me they could no longer work with us because "our groomer" was leaving the state. "Our groomer" that groomed my dog TWICE in the last 16 weeks. When I expressed my disappointment I received no response. I found this to be EXTREMELY unprofessional and flat out rude. I'm not sure if they're under new ownership but after recommending them to many friends of mine, I can confidently say I will never recommend anyone here again.

  We tried other mobile groomers before We Love Dogs.  They have been the best.  We experienced some turnover in their groomers as the economy has shifted in the past couple... read more years and we were sad to lose each one.  With one exception, the replacements have been good.  Our current groomer, Danielle, has been great.  She really loves our dogs and treats them with great care.  She's reliable and almost always comes early but with advance communication to ask if it is ok.  It would be nice if there were a more sophisticated booking system like a web calendar as we currently get a text message after each grooming is paid, alerting us to the next grooming date.  So far it's been on track for our every 8 week requested schedule but it would be nice to have more certainty on future dates.  I can see that with groomer turnover it might be hard to commit on their side.  The prices have climbed but they explained it is to offer health insurance to retain more experienced groomers.  Their trucks seem really clean and well-equipped, and they don't ask to hook up to our hose or electricity although we would be ok with that.  They must have a generator because the truck engine does not idle, it is off.

My boy loves Danielle!  When she came to pick him up yesterday, he ran to see her and gave her lots of kisses. She always does a great job with him and he comes back happy and handsome.

They are easy to work with if the time or date does not work for us (they also remember what time of day is best). I would highly recommend their services. They come right to the house and are done in about 45 mins.

  After using We Love Dogs for almost a year, I was informed today that I have to find a new grooming company for my dog Lulu, because she was anxious... read more during her grooming appointment with new groomers.
My dog had been seeing Cathy, who was really incredibly attentive and friendly, since she was a puppy. Lulu got along great with Cathy who repeatedly said 'she did great'. Cathy unfortunately left and Lulu was paired with a new groomer.
During the grooming appointment with the new people I got a message saying that they would have to shave her down because of 'bad matting all over', which I found strange because I had brushed her a few days before. I was aware of matting around her back legs but surely not 'all over'. 2 days after the appointment I got a message asking if Cathy had informed me about 'Lulu's [anxious] behavior before' along with the suggestion to take her somewhere else. I'm starting to wonder whether they shaved her down out of frustration with her anxiety.
I think it's perfectly understandable that Lulu was anxious about new groomers. I also would have expected to be treated with a little more decency after using them for a year. For example they could have proposed to work together to help Lulu transition to the new person instead of immediately dumping her as a client.  
If you are looking for a reliable service and a grooming company that works with their customers to address the needs of your pup, I do not recommend this company.

  Quality of service has not diminished since I first started using We Love Dogs grooming nearly a year ago. My dog has been groomed by both Andrea and Cathy multiple... read more times. I just learned that they do retain photos of the pet's last grooming for reference, which is great if the owner doesn't have the specifics handy. Groomers are also highly receptive to any grooming adjustments.

Booking via text is super easy and they are quick to respond. I typically take the first available appointment. The only downside, through no fault of the business, is that they are booked up weeks in advance. This just means my dog is just fluffier between groomings.

Given the year-long pandemic, I am very happy and grateful that this business continues to thrive. Keep up the good work!

Kimba came back looking clean, trimmed, and fluffier than he's ever been. And, especially, he came back happy.
